Our campsite is perfectly located on the Hümmling, directly on the Hümmlinger pilgrimage route, on the road of megalithic culture and on the Lower Saxony mill road. Here you have the opportunity to explore many attractive destinations in the immediate vicinity. The Hümmling is centrally located between the Fehn region and the neighboring East Frisia as well as the Oldenburg Münsterland with the impressive Thülsfelder Dam and the Saterland. The Hasetal, the Ems region and our neighbors in the Netherlands are also just a short trip away. Clemenswerth Castle in Sögel
The castle is one of the most interesting cultural monuments in northern Germany and the only preserved avenue in the world. Eight linden tree avenues lead to the center, the hunting lodge. The magnificent building is surrounded by eight pavilions. Among them is the castle chapel with the Capuchin monastery, which is still active today.

Theikenmeer: Hiking trail & nature and geopark station in Werlte
The barrier-free exhibition at the nature park station entitled "Nature-Time-Human" appeals to different age groups with an interactive offering and invites you to take a journey through time through the history of the "free Hümmling". The information can be experienced on a circular hiking trail, the "Theikenmeerrunde", in the associated outdoor area. From a lookout tower and various observation platforms, nature enthusiasts can gain very special views and insights into the Theikenmeer and the importance of the nature reserve.

At Springmaus you can play and romp around on over 2300m²! You can test your skills on one of the many play equipment in the Springmaus indoor play area. For the very little ones there is a special area in the indoor play area where they can slide, crawl or do gymnastics in the ball pit to their heart's content.
